Blood Fury Amulet

Blood Fury is what I tell new players to rush to get. First of all it gives great stats and it also has the ability to heal and that heal also is damage. This will help you level up without banking as much or near to no food. Most people will also use this for slayer or to afk kill stuff. In my opinion, its the 2nd best necklace in the game first is a tie between the Amulet of Souls and Reaper Amulet. It also has no stat requirements only a crafting one but you can use the player assistance system to craft it.

Amulet of Souls and Reaper Necklace

Both are great kinda like brothers just good in different situations. But which to buy first? Everyone will say souls because it's the best all rounder necklace and can use it at any boss in the game. I'll post a link to a Video explaining the differences between the two.

Blood Fury Amulet

Blood_amulet_of_fury_detail.png

Info

A blood amulet of fury is a neck slot item made by combining an amulet of fury with a blood necklace shard. This process requires 80 Crafting, which can be assisted, and awards 200 experience. However, the process cannot be reversed, and the amulet permanently becomes untradeable. When created, it is fully charged.

While in combat, the amulet has a passive effect that damages monsters for 200 to 500 life points and heals the wearer for the same amount every 15 seconds. The amulet will target the monster that last damaged the wearer or the monster the wearer last damaged (whichever was most recent), and any other nearby monsters (even if they aren't in combat with the wearer). The maximum the amulet can heal per activation is 1,200 life points. If the amulet was intended to do more damage than its target had left (e.g. the target had 240 life points, and the amulet rolled to hit a 500), then the amulet will still heal the full amount to its wearer.

If the blood amulet of fury is lost on death in a PvP situation, it is valued at 50,000 coins and will be dropped for that.

Amulet of souls

Amulet_of_souls_detail.png

Info

The amulet of souls is an enchanted hydrix amulet. It can be created by using either Lvl-6 Enchant, requiring level 87 Magic, or an enchant onyx tablet on a hydrix amulet. The amulet can be decorated with a soul ornament kit to create an amulet of souls (or), which adds +2 to all of its style bonuses.

In addition to having the second highest style bonuses of any amulet, it also has two passive effects:

  • Soul Split has a 50% chance to heal 25-50% more (an average of 18.75% more healing)

  • The base damage reduction of Protection prayers and Deflection curses is increased by 10% (giving them 60% damage reduction)

Once equipped, this item becomes permanently untradeable. The amulet degrades to a broken state after 100,000 hits in combat; as with all enchanted hydrix jewellery, it can be recharged by 50% by using a cut onyx on it.

Reaper necklace

Reaper_necklace_detail.png

Info

A reaper necklace is a necklace made by enchanting a hydrix necklace with Enchant Level 6 Jewellery (requiring 87 Magic) or an enchant onyx tablet. The reaper necklace can be decorated with a reaper ornament kit. This produces a reaper necklace (or), which adds +2 to its style bonuses.

It has a passive effect: all successful hits give a 0.1% hit chance boost in all styles for 54 seconds, stacking up to 30 times (a total 3% hit chance increase); however taking the necklace off or switching it for another item will cause the buff to disappear. Missed hits do not count towards stacks.

The necklace degrades to a broken state after 100,000 hits in combat; as with all enchanted hydrix jewellery, it can be recharged by 50% by using a cut onyx on it (so a full recharge effectively costs 2,544,316 coins).

Once equipped, this item becomes permanently untradeable.

Dragon Rider Amulet

Dragon_Rider_amulet_detail.png

Info

When using the Dragon Breath ability, the amulet boosts the damage by 10%, and it has a 10% chance of burning the opponent(s) with a bleeding effect. The bleeding effect hits 3 times and deals 10% of Dragon Breath's maximum hit rounded down per hit (this does not include damage boosts that doesn't affect bleeds). This works like Combust, but it is shorter and deals fixed damage regardless of movement (around 20.68% ability damage per hit, for a total of 62.04% ability damage). It also stacks with the regular Combust ability.

Split dragontooth necklace & Demon horn necklace

Demon_horn_necklace_detail.png

Split Dragontooth

The split dragontooth necklace is a Dungeoneering reward that was released along with the Warped floors. The necklace can be purchased from the rewards trader for 17,000 Dungeoneering tokens, and requires 60 Prayer and 60 Dungeoneering to purchase.

When worn, this necklace restores prayer points when burying certain bones:

Note that manually scattering ashes will not restore prayer points when using the necklace, nor will ghosts killed in conjunction with the ectoplasmator. Only ghosts killed or ashes scattered automatically by the attuned ectoplasmator will trigger the effects of the necklace.

Combined with the bonecrusher or the Attuned ectoplasmator in locations where aggressive monsters with low life points that frequently drop bones or are undead, the item will restore prayer points by automatically burying bones or scattering ashes. This item is the better version of the twisted bird skull necklace and the lesser version of the demon horn necklace. Using this necklace in combination with the bonecrusher or attuned ectoplasmator, it is possible to greatly extend trips to monsters which drop big bones (such as dark beasts) or ashes, especially when used in combination with the soul split curse.

Demon Horn Necklace

The demon horn necklace costs 35,000 Dungeoneering tokens and requires level 90 Prayer and 90 Dungeoneering to wear. The necklace was released along with a selection of eight other rewards, available at the rewards trader.

When worn, this necklace restores prayer points when burying certain bones:

The necklace is worth using in conjunction with the bonecrusher or attuned ectoplasmator in locations where monsters frequently drop bones, ashes, or are ghosts, as the combination can quickly restore Prayer points and no time is wasted manually burying the bones. While this is typically less useful at bosses, with sufficiently high damage output (especially with area of effect abilities like Dragon Breath, prayer renewals, and/or the penance aura) other methods of prayer restore may become unnecessary at bosses that drop high-tier bones or ashes like K'ril Tsutsaroth. This combination can also be helpful while fighting the Giant mole, as the mole summons groups of minions that drop bones.

Note that manually scattering ashes will not restore prayer points when using the necklace, nor will ghosts killed in conjunction with the ectoplasmator. Only ghosts killed or ashes scattered automatically by the attuned ectoplasmator will trigger the effects of the necklace.

The demon horn necklace used to be notable for having the largest prayer bonus of any item worn in the neck slot (+13), although since the Evolution of Combat the bone necklaces' bonuses were lowered to the point where the Dragon Rider amulet became the one with the largest prayer bonus, and even the cheaply available holy symbol and unholy symbol have larger bonuses.

After the quest Pieces of Hate, the Holy wrench boosts the amount of prayer restored from the Dungeoneering prayer necklaces by 10% as long as the wrench is either worn or in the inventory. For example, wearing the Demon horn necklace and killing an adult dragon restores 165 prayer points instead of 150 (a +10% increase).

My Advice

I would say if you are not close to level 90 Prayer and 90 Dungeoneering buy the Split Dragontooth Necklace and Maybe later on buy the Demon Horn Necklace. You wont see much performace diffrences between the two both will server you well.

Amulet of zealots

Amulet_of_zealots_detail.png

The amulet of zealots is a Dungeoneering reward that, when worn, increases the boost of activated single-stat boosting prayers. The amulet requires a Prayer level of 48 and a Dungeoneering level of 48, costs 40,000 Dungeoneering tokens, and has the highest Prayer penalty of any item.

To single-stat boosting standard prayers and to Leech Curses, the amulet increases the accuracy and defence gained from them by 10%, and raises their damage boost by a flat 10%. To demonstrate, if a player gained +100 accuracy, +100 defence, and a +6% damage boost from such prayers, the amulet of zealots would raise those values to +110 accuracy, +110 defence, and a +16% damage boost.

Given the nature of these bonuses, with Leech Curses a damage boost of up to 18% can be gained, beating even Malevolence, Desolation and Affliction at 12%; however, the accuracy and defence gained under the amulet is poor and the boosts take time to strengthen. Using the amulet also sacrifices the necklace slot and carries a high penalty to prayer drain. The amulet is most viable where the player never misses an attack and is not concerned with the high prayer drain.

It is recommended to be used in conjunction with passive damage healing effects like the Vampyrism aura, Soul Split, or a scrimshaw of vampyrism (only when using melee). Alternatively, a player may briefly switch to a blood necklace to heal, as the amulet applies it's bonuses instantly upon re-equipping. There is no need for additional prayer restoration when using Ultimate Strength or the ranged / magic equivalent for a 16% damage boost, holy overloads and a total Prayer bonus of at least 1 (-5 from amulet and +6 from other gear) at level 99 Prayer. Lower Prayer level would probably require a higher prayer bonus.

Dying with an amulet of zealots in the Wilderness results in the necklace being converted into 20,000 coins, which are dropped.
